wow, so cool!
I love this movie. It caters to my lust for older times as well as the fight for feminism and feminine independence. Also, being able to be treated just like men has been a continuing battle that has sprinkles in our modern age of 2011. I can’t believe we still have these things in our lives. As a young woman in her early 20s I find that I still run into difficulties every blue moon for the sole fact that I’m female. My intelligence in masculin-ized arenas has been questioned and doubted that always makes my hackles go up.
But this movie always makes me feel like things will work out the way they should. I also love the music, styles and outfits of college girls in 1953-54 depicted in this film.
Much love dolls and gentlemen!
